Cross-server gathering, defense and scoring manual
Purpose: A living field guide for CaD leadership and members.
Update the assignments, destination server, rally point and confirmed mechanics
whenever the event changes.
Quick Start
The rules that matter most.
Enter through the Mad Vein event interface and use the event relocation.
Do not use a normal Random Teleport.
Follow the event countdown timers. Do not trust the
War in Progress text by itself.
Do not attack players from our own server, even if they are in another alliance.
Scout freely when needed: official patch notes confirm that scouting a Vein
does not remove your Shield or trigger War Frenzy.
Stay with the CaD cluster. Isolated bases are easy ore targets.
Take only the resource level you can defend. Continuous safe income beats
getting zeroed near the volcano.
Watch hospital capacity and keep alliance helps moving through both rounds.
Protect ore-heavy bases, especially during the final five minutes.
Complete both 30-minute rounds whenever possible.
01 Event at a Glance
Mad Vein, also called Volcano by many players, is a cross-server
alliance event built around gathering, ore delivery, base defense and ranking. The
destination server and opponents can change each time the event runs.
Phase
What CaD should do
Preview
Confirm the destination server, approximate resource
areas, first volcano or meteorite location and likely combat zone.
Contest 1
Fight, gather and defend during the first 30-minute
scoring round.
Preparation
Heal, reorganize and study the next resource drop and
disputed zone.
Contest 2
Run the second 30-minute scoring round. Adjust
assignments based on the first round.
Settlement
Review personal milestones, individual rank and
alliance rank rewards.
Timing
Exact start times vary by server and time zone. CaD will use the countdown shown in the
event hub. The developers have already fixed a false War in Progress label outside
the active War Phase, so the countdown is the safer indicator.
02 Scoring and Milestones
The best available player guide reports that all nine personal milestone
chests require 600,000 points. It also reports that a base remaining in the dark
combat zone for a full 30-minute round earns 72,000 points — enough for the first
three chests.

Important
The 30-minute figures assume uninterrupted scoring and exclude delivered-ore income, combat
interruptions and other bonuses. Public sources do not clearly prove whether every zone,
gathering and ore-income stream always stacks — watch the live point ticker during our
first run.
03 Ore: How Points Become a Target
Gathering and successful attacks can award unprocessed event ore.
When a gathering or victorious attacking squad returns, the ore is delivered to the base
automatically.
The community guide lists ore income rates of 30 or 120 points per second, but the
public text does not clearly map each rate to a specific ore grade.
A breached base can lose part of its stored ore. Previously generated points are
reportedly retained after an ordinary breach.
The community guide warns that a completely burned or zeroed base can lose all
accumulated event ore and event points.
CaD priority
An ore-rich base is both an asset and a target. Reinforce it, place it inside the group, and
avoid leaving it exposed while its main squads are gathering or attacking.
04 Map Zones and Risk
Area
Risk / reward
Recommended players
Volcano / inner area
Highest reported resource value, strongest opponents and
constant combat.
Strong accounts, anchors and organized response teams.
Dark combat zone
Reported passive scoring while the base remains exposed to
event combat.
Players able to hold position with nearby support.
Yellow / outer area
Lower earning potential but less pressure and a better
survival rate.
Developing accounts and players who cannot hold the
center.
Do not measure contribution only by proximity to the volcano. A developing player who stays
alive and scores for the full round may contribute more than a stronger player who
overextends and gets zeroed.
05 Shields, Scouting and Combat
Officially confirmed
Scouting a Vein does not remove your normal Shield and does not trigger War
Frenzy. This protection applies to the scouting action.
Community-reported event rule
The detailed player guide reports that shields do not protect bases operating inside the
active contested event area. Do not assume that a combat attack receives the same
protection as scouting.
Safe interpretation
Scouting is protected. Active event-zone combat remains dangerous. Treat any actual
attack, occupation or exposed event base as a combat action unless the current in-game rules
explicitly say otherwise.
06 CaD Roles and Assignments
Role
Job during the event
Event Lead / R4
Post destination server, countdown, rally point, friendly servers and
any no-hit agreements. Direct movement between rounds.
Anchors / defenders
Establish the CaD cluster, hold central space, protect ore-heavy bases
and absorb enemy pressure.
Inner gatherers
Work the highest-value resources that CaD can realistically defend.
Call incoming attacks immediately.
Outer gatherers
Maintain safe, uninterrupted income from lower-risk areas and avoid
unnecessary combat.
Mobile response
Intercept attacks, reinforce valuable bases and target exposed enemy
ore carriers or gatherers.
Developing players
Use the safer zone, stay inside support range, preserve troops and
build steady personal points.
07 Round Battle Plan
Before entering
Clear hospital space and finish urgent healing.
Recall important squads and confirm march availability.
Read the CaD server, rally-point and friendly-server announcement.
Know your assigned role and risk zone.
Prepare healing resources and stay available to press alliance help.
Opening — first 3 minutes
Relocate through the event interface.
Form one defensible CaD cluster around the assigned anchor.
Scout high-value targets and identify nearby enemy servers.
Take initial resources according to role — do not race alone into the center.
Main phase — approximately minutes 3–25
Keep gathering uptime high and return ore normally.
Call hostile marches with coordinates and player/server identification.
Reinforce ore-heavy CaD bases before chasing enemy kills.
Target enemy resource and ore value, not meaningless combat.
Check personal progress toward the milestone track and monitor hospital capacity.
If the center cannot be held, regroup into a safer zone rather than feeding the opponent.
Final 5 minutes
Recall exposed squads early enough to deliver their ore.
Reinforce the highest-value CaD bases.
Stop unnecessary attacks that leave bases open.
Do not risk complete base destruction for one final resource.
Protect the alliance cluster until the scoring timer ends.
Between rounds
Heal and empty hospital pressure as much as possible.
Review which enemies controlled the inner area.
Move assignments based on actual performance, not original expectations.
Check the next meteorite or volcano position and disputed zone.
Repost the second-round rally point and friendly-server rules.
